Terms of Service
Effective date: July 4, 2026
These terms cover your use of basecampdigital.ai and, at a summary level, how our services work. We wrote them to be read, not skimmed and regretted. When you hire us, the controlling document is the short written agreement we both sign before work starts. If these terms and that agreement ever conflict, the signed agreement wins.
1. Who we are
Basecamp Digital is a business based in Scotts Valley, California. You can reach us at hello@basecampdigital.ai.
2. Using this website
The content on this site is provided as general information about our services. It is provided as is, without warranties of any kind. We work to keep it accurate, but we may change prices, offers, and content at any time. The prices shown on the Pricing page are current as of their posting.
3. The 7-Day Website
- The project starts when you sign a one-page agreement that includes an approval checklist defining what "done" means.
- You pay zero dollars down. The full fee is due on the day you approve the finished site, by card or bank transfer.
- One revision round is included. Additional revision requests after that round are change orders billed at $150 per page.
- If you choose not to approve the site after the included revision round, you pay nothing, and you do not receive the site, its files, or its content. Ownership of unapproved work stays with us.
- Once you approve and pay, the website is yours: the domain stays in your name and the delivered site and its content belong to you.
4. Never Miss a Lead
- Billed monthly at the rate shown on the Pricing page. Month to month, no long-term contract. You may cancel anytime, effective at the end of the current billing month.
- Step-up pricing: the current published rate is $750 a month. It steps up as capacity fills, to $950 and then $1,200 once published proof exists. The rate in effect when you sign up is the rate you keep.
- The 90-day guarantee: if no booked job comes through the system in your first 90 days, the next 3 months of our fee are free. Conditions: your Google Business Profile must remain verified during the period, and you must attend the appointments the system books. "A lead" is measured mechanically by the tracking we install: a call of 30 seconds or more on the tracking number, or a form fill with a valid phone number. Free months apply to our fees only and never to any third-party costs.
5. The Growth Engine
- Billed monthly at the rate shown on the Pricing page, plus advertising spend that you pay directly to the ad platforms. We never hold or pass through ad dollars, so we cannot refund them.
- Step-up pricing: the current published rate is $2,000 a month. It steps up as capacity fills, to $2,750 and then $3,500 once published proof exists. The rate in effect when you sign up is the rate you keep.
- The first 30 days are a pilot. If you tell us you are unhappy on or before day 30, we refund the full first-month fee and you keep the assets we built for you.
- After the pilot, service continues for a 3-month term, then month to month.
6. Custom work
Custom apps and automation builds are scoped and quoted individually under their own signed agreements, from $5,000, with a 50% deposit on signature. Every custom quote includes an optional run-it-for-you monthly service, from $500 a month, under its own terms.
7. Payments
Payments are processed by Stripe. The AI Working Session is paid up front at booking, is credited in full toward anything you buy from us within 60 days, and carries its own guarantee: one automation running before we leave the session, or the session fee is refunded in full. Website project fees are due on approval. Monthly fees are billed at the start of each billing period. Late or failed payments may pause service until resolved.
8. Portfolio
Unless we agree otherwise in writing, we may show completed, approved work in our portfolio and identify you as a client. We will never publish your quotes, numbers, or results without your written permission.
9. What we're responsible for
We stand behind our work through the specific guarantees described above, and those are the remedies we offer. To the maximum extent allowed by law, our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the amount you paid us for the service in question, and we are not liable for indirect losses such as lost profits. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under California law.
10. Third-party platforms
Our services depend on platforms we do not control, such as Google, Meta, hosting providers, and phone carriers. We are not responsible for their outages, policy changes, or decisions, though we will always work to fix or route around problems they cause.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by California law. Any dispute will be handled in the courts of Santa Cruz County, California.
12. Changes
We may update these terms by posting a new version here with a new effective date. Continued use of the site or services after a change means you accept it.
