Basecamp Digital ("we," "us") is a business based in Scotts Valley, California, operating the website basecampdigital.ai. This policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. We wrote it in plain English on purpose.
What we collect
Information you give us. When you fill out our contact form, we collect your name, business name, email address, your message, and your phone number if you choose to include it. When you book a call through our scheduling page, you provide your name, email address, and any notes you add.
Information collected automatically. Like most websites, we use analytics to understand how visitors use the site. This includes things like the pages you visit, how you found us, your general location (city level), your device and browser type, and your IP address. This is collected through cookies and similar technologies.
How we use it
- To reply to your message and provide the services you ask about
- To schedule and hold calls you book
- To understand how the website is used so we can improve it
- To measure advertising, if we run ads that point to this site
We do not sell your personal information. We do not send marketing email lists you didn't ask for.
Who we share it with
We share information only with the service providers that make this website work:
- Vercel hosts this website and processes standard server logs.
- Google Analytics 4 provides our website analytics, using cookies.
- Resend delivers the emails sent through our contact form.
- Cal.com powers call scheduling and processes the details you enter when booking.
We use the Meta (Facebook) pixel to measure advertising. It sets cookies that share site-visit data (pages viewed and actions taken) with Meta so we can measure ad performance and reach similar audiences. You can opt out of interest-based ads through your Meta ad preferences and the Digital Advertising Alliance opt-out page.
Each of these companies has its own privacy policy governing how it handles data. We do not share your information with anyone else except when the law requires it.
Cookies and your choices
This site uses cookies for analytics. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and the site will still work. You can also opt out of Google Analytics specifically with Google's browser opt-out add-on, available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout.
Do Not Track
Some browsers send a "Do Not Track" signal. Like most websites, this site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, because there is no common standard for how to interpret them.
Your rights
You can ask us at any time to see the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. Email hello@basecampdigital.ai and we will handle it promptly. California residents may also have rights under California privacy law, and we will honor any valid request regardless of whether the law technically applies to a business our size.
Children
This site is for business owners and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version on this page with a new effective date. If a change is significant, we will say so plainly at the top of the page.
